Mother's Group
|

Will be meeting on the first Saturday of every month with young children from 3:00 - 4.30 pm. Where possible the venue will be the Schoenstatt Shrine and playground.
We will also be kick-starting the year with a lunchtime bring-and -braai on Sunday 22nd January, to welcome mothers new to the group & meet their families.

Archdiocesan Library, which is housed at the Chancery will be open on the first Saturday of each month from 10.00 – 12.00.

Ecclesia Lent 2012 – As we were a Pilot Parish and have already completed Season One, during Lent 2012 we will be doing sessions on the Nature of the Church while the Archdiocese does Season One.
If there are any parishioners who did not do Season One but would like to join a group for these Lenten Sessions then please can you put your details on the list at the back of the church. Please do so by this coming Sunday 22nd January. Contact John on 082 847 5598 if you should have any queries.

Catechism
|
|
All Catechism classes will resume from Monday 30th January, timetables as below:
- Monday 4.30 – 5.30: Grade 1
- Tuesday 4.30 – 5.30: Grade 2/Grade 4/Grade 6 (first class)
- Tuesday 5.30 – 6.30: Grade 7
- Wednesday 4.30 – 5.30: Grade 3/Grade 5/Grade 6 (second class)
- Wednesday 5.30 – 6.30: Grade 8/Grade 9/ Grade 10/Grade 11
Catechism Sunday 22nd January – 9.00am and 6.00pm Mass: This year we have decided, that instead of having our usual parents meeting during the evening, you will have an opportunity to meet your child’s catechist and collect your children’s book packs, after either the 9.00am or 6.00pm Masses.
- The Grade 1: 6 Catechists will attend the 9.00am Mass and the
- Grade 7:11 Catechists will attend the 6.00pm Mass.
If you have children in both groups, Kate will have all the Grades book packs with her, so you need not come twice, but please do introduce yourself. You are reminded that children need to attend at least 75% of their lessons for them to go through to their next Grade, and also at least a 50% pass mark. If you have not enrolled your child yet for this year do so ASAP.

Confirmation Class 2012
|
|
This year our confirmation class will begin with a twelve week program called “Theology of the Body for Teens: High School Edition”. This is a program for Catholic teenagers based on John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, that helps them understand the meaning of their bodies, the significance of their sexuality, the purpose of their lives, and how they were uniquely created for greatness.

This program will be presented by Eric and Yourinda Bauer. We encourage you to have a look at this above link, so that you are aware what your children will be covering in this twelve week program.
If you have any questions, both Eric and Yourinde will be available after the 6.00pm Mass this Catechism Sunday, 22nd January so please come do come along and meet them.
